Commands

!<command>
displays, to chat, the output of any command or piped commands that use stdout or stderr. Limited to 512 bytes. Can cause you to be ignored or auto-ignored if not used with discretion.

!!<command>
displays, to your local screen only, the output of any command or piped commands that use stdout or stderr.

: <text>
displays <text> without quotes, as if it represents an action taken by you instead of speech by you; also known as an emote.

/about
about curfloo

/away <message>
changes your user status so as to send <message> in response to any Private Messages received. displays "is away (<message>)" beside your name in the chat window.

without <message>, /away restores your user status to receive PMs as well as displaying "is Back" in the chat window. see the section AWAY.

/chatters
lists chatters in your current room

/clear
clears the text area buffer

/follow <user>
begins following <user>: you will be taken along to any room <user> joins used without <user>, it ends following.

/goto <chatter's name>
takes you to the same room as <chatter's name>

/help
displays the Help menu

/ignore
without arguments, displays your current ignore list

/ignore <user>
blocks the display of text from <user>, adds <user> to your ignore list

/invite <user>
invites the chatter <user> to your room

/join <room name>
takes you to <room name>

/logoff
disconnects you from Yahoo chat, but does not exit Curfloo

/mute
without arguments, displays your current temporary ignore list (lost everytime curfloo exists)

/mute <user>
blocks the display of text from <user> until the next time you start curfloo

/profile
toggles the profile window on or off.

/profile <user>
displays the Yahoo chat online profile of <user>

/quit
exits curfloo

/roll <x:n>
rolls x number of n-sided die. pseudo-random number generation.

/tell <chatter's name>
sends a private message (PM) to <chatter name>.

/think <text>
displays <text> with cartoon-like thought bubbles

/unignore <user>
removes <user> from your ignore list and ends blocking of display of text from <user>

/unmute <user>
ends blocking of display of text from <user>

/ver
displays the curfloo version and URL

/who
lists those in your friends list who are online now
